Due to the current pandemic difficulties and market challenges, Al Amal 12 program will be slightly developed to adapt to the surrounding changes. One of the main targets of Al Amal program is to spread the knowledge to all geoscience graduates and students, so that this year Al Amal 12 will be divided into two phases.
The first phase will cover the following.
- Online Sessions covering different disciplines beside the petroleum aspect such as mining, environmental, engineering and hydrogeology. The online sessions will help to deliver the message to all graduates using one of the online tools during the live sessions and the recorded sessions will be uploaded in Al Amal Website.
- NXplorers, which is Shell innovative educational program that introduces young people to the complex and creative thinking needed to bring about positive change. the program aims to build awareness, develop knowledge, and provide thinking tools and complex problem-solving skills to the leaders of the future.
- The field of data science is growing rapidly and already became an important tool in all fields, that is why Al Amal 12 program should cover Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence properly during the first phase.
The second phase will cover the following.
- Al Amal Field camp at El Fayoum sponsored by The National Research Institute of Astronomy and Geophysics (NRIAG). The camp will include data acquisition, processing, and interpretation.
- Virtual project using EGS machines on Australia data
- Geological field trips for outcrops and Quarries.
- Group visits for active companies in each market.
- English and Soft skills workshops.
